2006 Limited Selection Sauvignon Blanc
"***** 5 STARS,Restaurant Wine, Issues 119 & 120"
"Fine Sauvignon: ripely flavored, full-bodied, lightly oaked, and long on the palate, with a persistent finish, tasting of apple, melon, lemon, toast, and lemon grass."

2005 Limited Selection Pinot Noir
"***** 5 STARS,Restaurant Wine, Issue 119 & 120"
Velvety in texture and richly flavored, this is an excellent, firmly textured Pinot, with a long, lightly oaky finish. It tastes of pomegranate, black cherry, blueberry, toast, and cedar.
"93 POINTS, Wine Enthusiast, December 2007"
Gainey's regular '05 was a beautiful wine. This is more full-bodied, richer and higher in alcohol, and merits its reserve status. It's a young wine, opulent in cherries and raspberries that have a baked pie-filling warmth, and complexed with cola, sweet leather, figs, pomegranates and dusty Asian spices. Very delicious now, it should develop additional complexities over the next six years."

2006 Limited Selection Riesling
"WINE REVIEW ON LINE, July 31, 2007"
Describing sweetness or dryness in Riesling is tricky, and this wine proves the point. It has the almost full-bodied weight of a dry Riesling but it has 8 grams/liter of residual sugar, and yet crisp acidity that cuts through the sweetness. The net impression is that it's at the limit between dry and off-dry. It's also extremely fruity -- oranges, apples, peaches--and has luscious, soft, rich texture. This is a terrific California Riesling, for those who don't get hung up on the technical issue of sweetness.
