Employee Spotlight: Meryl Capone, Tasting Room Manger ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Meryl has been with us almost 25 years and we feel so honored to have her on our team for so long. She loves so many things about her job, but she said the highlights are working for the Gainey family and having her employees become like family. She also loves helping customers because each day you meet new people which keeps it fresh and interesting. She also likes that Gainey is always open to new ideas and trying to improve as an organization. Before she came to work with Gainey, she was an interior designer in New York.

Without hesitation, her favorite Gainey wine is the Limited Selection Pinot Noir. And when she's not working, you can find her at home whipping up an incredible Italian meal or enjoying Chef Budi Khazali's mussels in garlic/wine at The Gathering Table in Ballard. Reading is also something she enjoys and the last book she read was "The Four Agreements" by Miguel Ruiz. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Once the pandemic is over, Meryl hopes to travel to New York to visit her mother. And she and her husband hope to get back to Cabo, Mexico for some rest and relaxation. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
