2020 Limited Selection Chardonnay

Gainey Limited Selection Chardonnay is produced entirely from fruit we grow at our estate vineyard, Evan’s Ranch, located in the southeastern side of Santa Rita Hills Rita Hills. This marine-influenced site, just ten miles from the Pacific Ocean, ripen our Chardonnay grapes slowly and evenly throughout the growing season, ensuring they’re harvested at peak ripeness with a beautiful balance of luscious varietal flavors and fresh, vibrant acidity.

Our Limited Selection Chardonnay displays aromas of ripe apple, honeysuckle, yellow peach, scents of vanilla bean, spice and slate. On the palate, the wine is lush and creamy, yet clean and crisp, with mouthfilling Fuji apple, ripe peach flavors enhanced by a long lush finish. Delicious on release with rich fish, poultry and pork dishes – or simply on its own – this classic Sta. Rita Hills Chardonnay will age gracefully in bottle for 2-3 years from its bottling date.
